About Boao Forum for Asia

Boao Forum For Asia (BFA) is a non-government, non-profit international organization.
Initiated in 1998 by Fidel V. Ramos, former President of the Philippines, Bob Hawke,
former Prime Minister of Australia, and Morihiro Hosokawa, former Prime Minister of
Japan, Boao Forum for Asia was launched by 29 Initial Countries in the Asia Pacific and
inaugurated on February 27, 2001.
The BFA is focused on Asia with a global vision. As the leading dialogue platform 博鰲亞洲論壇2017年年會開幕式現場
for Asian and emerging economies, the BFA is committed to facilitating economic Opening Plenary, Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2017
integration in Asia and common development in the Asia Pacific region. BFA has now
