The young violinist Sophia Chan has displayed tremendous talents in music since four years old. She has won numerous awards for her performances, and was given the title “young genius violinist”. In august 2010, she has performed alongside the world famous pianist Lang Lang, live in front of 50,000 audiences, for the Universiade 2011 one year countdown ceremony at the Shenzhen spor ts stadium. Recently, astonished by her talents and great performance on stage, the world renowned conductor and music director of the Sao Paulo Opera House invited Sophia as a special performer, representing China, to perform at Festival de Musica de Santa Catarina (FEMUSC) in Brazil. She is also invited to record her first violin album with the Grammy award classical producer in early 2011.
