Mr. Fang Fang
Fang joined J.P. Morgan in August 2001 as an investment banker in Hong Kong. He was promoted to Managing Director in 2003 and was appointed co-head of China Investment Banking in 2005 and CEO of J.P. Morgan China in early 2007. In Nov 2009, he was asked to take on expanded responsibilities as Vice- Chairman of Asia Investment Banking.
Fang star ted his career in 1993 with Merrill Lynch as an investment banking associate in New York and subsequently was transferred to its Hong Kong office. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Fang was a Vice President at Beijing Enterprises Holdings.
In March 2008, Fang was appointed as the member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (“CPPCC”) and also serves on CPPCC’s Subcommittee for Social and Legal Affairs. Fang has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, and an MBA from Vanderbilt University, USA. |
