( 26 Nov 2009)While the 5th East Asian Game is to be organized in Hong Kong for the first time, another important event will also be held. As the world sails through the financial crisis, China has surpassed many countries in both recovery and growth. The theme of the Forum will be “China’s Response to Financial Crisis” to reflect the attention of the world on the positive role that China plays in a new world economy. It aims at increasing the understanding of youth from Greater China on this role.
The Forum will be the first of its kind to be organized by a local youth NGO and also the 2nd event that BFA organized in Hong Kong, after the International Tourism Conference jointly organized by BFA and the Government of Hong Kong SAR in 2003.
