Dr. Zhou Wenzhang
Zhou Wenzhang, male, ethnic Han, born in August 1953, is a native of Baoying County, Jiangsu Province. Dr. Zhou graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Nanjing University in 1982 as a bachelor of philosophy and from Department of Philosophy, Renmin University in 1988 as a Ph.D. in philosophy.
Dr. Zhou is at present the Vice President (vice ministerial level) of Chinese Academy of Governance (CAG), Ph.D. supervisor of Renmin University of China, winner of the State Council Special Government Subsidy, calligrapher and visiting professor at Lanting Calligraphy College of Shaoxing.
Dr. Zhou was an assistant lecturer in Nanjing Architectural Engineering Institute from 1982 to 1985. From 1985 to 1988, he studied as a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Philosophy, Renmin University of China and from 1988 to 1989, he became a lecturer at Nanjing University. From 1989 to 1998, Dr. Zhou became the Deputy Director and research fellow of the Development Research Center of Hainan Provincial Government. From 1998 to 2002, he became the Deputy Director General of the Publicity Department of Hainan Provincial Committee of the CPC.
From 2002 to 2009, Dr. Zhou was the Director General of the Publicity Department of Hainan Provincial Committee of the CPC and member of the Standing Committee, Hainan Provincial Committee of the CPC.From 2009 to present, Dr. Zhou is the Vice President of CAG.
