Sujit Chatterjee is the Country Manager and Head of Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) in Hong Kong. Having joined TCS in 1999, Sujit has worked in various roles in sales and marketing including products marketing to managing strategic alliances and key relationships in different geographies for TCS. He has been associated with TCS in Hong Kong for past seven years and is currently heading TCS’ operations in Hong Kong, Macau, South China and Taiwan. Sujit has been responsible for aggressive growth of TCS’ business in the Pearl River Delta region over these years setting up new operations and building key customers across Macau and South China apart from establishing TCS’ as one of the top
Software Services player in the Hong Kong region. Prior to joining TCS, he spent three years in the manufacturing industry with General Electric in India.

Sujit holds a Bachelors’ degree in Production Engineering and a Masters’ degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing from University of Mumbai, India. He also has post graduate diplomas in Business Finance from Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) and in Industrial Law from National Labour Organization, India.

He is a graduate of General Electric Company’s “Technical Leadership Program”. A qualified Lead Assessor of ISO 9001 systems from Cranfield University, United Kingdom and a Cer tified External Assessor for the “Tata Business Excellence Model” (TBEM - The Tata group’s adoption of the Malcolm Baldridge Quality framework), Sujit has completed a post graduate diploma in Total Quality Management.

He is a member of IEEE and a past member of the Bombay Management Association. A member of the Economist’s Corporate Network in Hong Kong, he is a member of the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation (HKITF), Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce (HKCC). An avid reader and an ardent believer in learning as a lifelong journey, he continues his academic interests as an honorary visiting faculty at the management schools in the universities of Mumbai and Hong Kong.
