Hon. Andrew Leung is the chairman of Vocational Training Council (VTC); he is devoted in providing professional training and full-scale development services for young people. Since the 80s, Mr. Leung has been the committee member of both Textile and Clothing Industry Training Board, and became a member of VTC board of directors in 1998, he was then appointed as the chairman of VTC in 2006. Mr. Leung takes par t in many social affairs activities, and engaging in community matters actively, he mainly focuses on the economy development of the business sector, labour affairs, education policy and human resources training. With his vast experience in community services, Mr. Leung became the Legislative Council member in 2004, he also became the honourable chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Textile Council of Hong Kong and council member of Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Mr. Leung is also the committee member of 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the member of Commission on Strategic Development. Mr. Leung was appointed as the Justice of the Peace in 1996, and received the Silver Bauhinia Star and the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2006 and 2010.
