Ms. Alison Tudor
Alison Tudor is the Finance Correspondent covering Asia Pacific for The Wall Street Journal based in Hong Kong. She has documented the fall-out from the global financial crisis across Asia Pacific since it first unfolded.
She joined the Journal in 2008 as the paper’s Tokyo-based finance correspondent where she wrote extensively about the battle between Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore to develop as a regional financial centre.
Prior to The Journal, Alison led Reuters’ international corporate finance team in Japan and private equity coverage of across the Asia Pacific region.
Alison has also worked as a financial correspondent in London, Paris, Milan and Rome and has written award-winning ar ticles.
Alison grew up in England, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Durham University and La Luiss University, Rome. She has moderated discussions ranging from “Food Security” at a conference organized by Credit Suisse to “Regulation of Hedge Funds” organized by Data Explorers.
