Mr. Alexander Shapiro
Alexander has executed innovation, digital, branding and international business development strategies and programs for a wide range of employers and consulting clients. His professional career includes senior management positions at DMG Media (Beijing), streaming music service Spotify (Stockholm), international adver tising agency BBH (London), telecommunications operator Deutsche Telekom (Bonn), German adver tising agency Springer & Jacoby (Hamburg), international network operator AT&T Unisource (Amsterdam), and technology developer Nor tel Networks (Frankfur t).
As an independent consultant Alexander has advised investors, services, digital and consumer brands including APAX, Fjord, AOL, Good Men Project, Red Rabbit and Olsen Fashion. Brand communications, sales management and new business development capabilities compliment his telecommunications, media and technology experiences.
Born in New York City in 1965, Alexander attended Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan and Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He speaks Dutch and German along with his native English and is building on his basic Chinese skills from his current home in Beijing.
