Dr. Lu Chuan

Lu Chuan was born in November, 1983 in Leping, Jiangxi Province, As the incumbent chairman of ADASPACE. Lu is a doctor, and senior engineer. Besides, Lu holds the position as the executive deputy director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Internet Education System Technology and Application.

Lu mainly engages in the fields of Aerospace overall system, Artificial Intelligence, and Telecommunications Engineering. He served as the expert for the National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program), and then National Development and Reform Commission’s Industry Department. Due to his research achievements, Lu received the awards of "Special Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Society of Automation", "First Prize of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award"(first finisher), "First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education", "First Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award" (twice).

As the founder and core technology leader of the company,Lu has led the design, development, and launch of 21 AI satellites and payloads around "space AI" for technological innovation, technological evolution, and product operation; Lu grasped the global trend of accelerated development of artificial intelligence and commercial aerospace, the "Star Compute Plan" has been proposed firstly to build a global coverage of "mobile" computing power network. The international first AI large model scientific satellite ("Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Satellite") has been developed successfully and launched on September 24th, and the AI large model technology verification of satellite in orbit operation has been completed successfully. The "Star Compute Plan" has entered the substantive construction stage.
