Judy Chen, JP, her academic path traveled from the east to the west, studied in Beijing University, Menlo College and Harvard Business School. Her career journey starts with Hewlett Packard Company of Silicon Valley, and held senior position with PCCW, Merrill Lynch, and other international companies/organizations. She devoted herself to social welfare and charity causes for over 22 years. Now she is serving as a Member of the Chief Executive Election Committee of the H.K.S.A.R. (Social Welfare Sector), Chairman of the Hong Kong Committee for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, Convener of the Bridge Institute, Chairman of the Ocean Park Conservation Fund, Hong Kong-ASEAN Advisory Council Member, Permanent Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Huajing Society, Council Member of the Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA) and President-elect of the WRSA Entrepreneur Alliance, Director of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation etc.
Having engaged in the work of public diplomacy, teenager & children's rights and nature conservation for decades, she is playing an active role in major international platforms e.g. United Nations, uniting all works of life to elaborate good stories of China and Hong Kong. Judy firmly believes the future belongs to the youth where hope lies. She is looking forward to work with Boao Forum for Asia to promote the growth of youngster, whilst spare no effort to help Chinese youth understand the world and facilitate global youth to get closer to China.
