Graduate of ESCP Business School (1988), Emmanuelle Pérès was, before joining the Foundation Prospective & Innovation, Vice-minister for Youth and Director of Youth, Popular Education and Associative Life at the Ministry of National Education and Youth, where she was responsible, in particular, for setting up the Universal National Service (SNU), the Youth section of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, overseeing the Civic Service Agency and several French government operators for young people and implementing youth and community life policies. Specialist in training issues and the challenges of the accelerated transformation of work and skills, she was also General Delegate of the Federation of Vocational Training (2011-2018) and then Deputy General Director of the Automotive Industry Platform (PFA) for employment and skills issues (2018-2021). Prior to that, she was Secretary General of the Center for Young Business Leaders (CJD), Director General of the ESCP Business School Alumni Association, Secretary General of the Office Franco-Québécois pour la Jeunesse (OFQJ) and Advisor of Luc Chatel, Minister of National Education and Youth.
Alongside her professional career, Emmanuelle Pérès was an auditor at the 62nd national session of the Institute for Advanced National Defence Studies (IHEDN). Captain of the French Navy's Citizen Reserve and administrator of the French Civic Service Agency, she was a member of the Universal National Service prefiguration working group set up by the President of the French Republic (2018) before being appointed member of the High Committee for the Evaluation of Military Condition (2018-2021).
Emmanuelle Pérès is promoted Officer of the Legion of Honour by the President of the French Republic (2022) and Commander of the Academic Palms by the French Minister of Education (2021).
