Dr. Zhaofeng Xue, now an independent economist, was formerly professor at National School of Development and co-director of the Institute for Law and Economics, Peking University. Dr. Xue received his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University and was a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University School of Law. Dr. Xue's focus of interest is on price theory, law and economics, competition law and E-commerce governance. Dr. Xue is member of “Information Society 50 Forum.” Dr. Xue is author of Common Sense in Economics, Commerce without Frontiers: The Economics Revolution in Antitrust, and Economics Lecture Notes. Dr. Xue is known in China for his tireless effort in introducing the economic way of thinking to ordinary Chinese readers.
