Dr. David Y.K. Wong, GBS, JP received a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Chicago. David has since worked in various industries including corporate finance, manufacturing and trading. David actively participates in various community services. He is presently Hong Kong Deputy of The National People’s Congress and Chairman of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority. He is a member of Chief Executive’s Council of Advisors on Innovation and Strategic Development and also a member of the Financial Leaders’ Forum. He previously served as President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA)(2010-2011). Dr. Wong was appointed a Justice of Peace (JP) in 2010 and was awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) and a Gold Bauhinia Star (GBS) in 2012 and 2017 respectively.
